Is a Business Object directly exposed to the Control Room?

A Business Object in Blue Prism is designed to interface with external applications and encapsulate the functionality needed to interact with those applications. It serves as the bridge between the Blue Prism process and the application that needs to be automated.

In terms of exposure to the Control Room, Business Objects are not designed to be directly accessed or managed through the Control Room. The Control Room is primarily used for monitoring and controlling the execution of processes, managing resources, and handling queue items. Processes are what ultimately get executed through the Control Room, and they invoke the Business Objects as needed during their execution, rather than the objects being directly exposed to users or administrators in the Control Room environment.

This approach maintains a clear separation of concerns, allowing Business Objects to function effectively in the background without being overly exposed to the management interface used to oversee automated workflows. This structure ensures better security and management of automated processes.
